W. Krohn Tracy is a competitive amateur racer in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national German multiclass endurance championship where amateur and semi-professional entrants share grids with graded professionals. He raced BMW machinery in the Cup 5 and V5 classes for AC Mayen 1927 e.V. Porsche and LMS Engineering during his single indexed season in 2017, taking three starts across the year.[1]

Tracy finished 31st in the 2017 championship standings. His three races placed him in a field dominated by established regulars; he regularly finished behind entry-level professionals Daniel Zils, a five-time Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie champion, and Jens Moetefindt, a semi-professional with nearly 70 starts in the series. He did finish ahead of entry-level professionals Tyler Cooke, who competes in American sportscar series including IMSA, and Torsten Kratz, who has raced in European Le Mans Series and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie itself. LMS Engineering, his team for two of those starts, has not recorded wins across the index and fielded drivers at entry-level professional standard at best.[2]
