Jean Lucas was a French racing driver who made a single Formula 1 start in 1955 for Gordini. Racing as a substitute when regular driver Robert Manzon was unavailable, Lucas qualified and started the French Grand Prix at Reims on 11 September 1955 but retired from the race with engine failure, finishing twenty-sixth and scoring no championship points.[1]
Lucas held a managerial role at Gordini at the time of his racing appearance, which remained his sole competitive outing on record. His career did not extend beyond that single Grand Prix, and he is now retired from racing.[2]
