Jerry Hoffman was a club-level driver who raced in PCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship run across the United States. He competed in the GT4 class, driving a Porsche. His racing career on record spans two seasons, from 2015 to 2016, with 13 starts across 13 rounds.[1]
Hoffman won four races and finished on the podium in nine of his thirteen starts. In 2015, his first season, he took a class win. He returned in 2016 and scored a further win while adding four more podium finishes across six rounds that year, finishing tenth in the season standings.[2]
Hoffman typically finished ahead of regular opponents Frank Powell and Dan Carusillo, both developing-level drivers competing in the same series. He also beat Jeffrey Schmidt, a professional-graded driver who has since competed in ADAC GT Masters and international sportscar racing, on three occasions, and Mike Skinner, an entry-level professional with extensive NASCAR Xfinity experience, three times as well.
