Joan Linehan is a developing driver racing in SCCA Regionals, a national multiclass championship that fields amateur through professional competitors in twenty-five classes per race. Linehan drives a Spec Miata in the SMT class, competing across five seasons from 2022 onwards.[1]
Through 2025 Linehan completed forty starts in SCCA Regionals. In the 2026 season, still in progress, Linehan sits forty-first in the championship standings after three rounds. The record shows occasional results against stronger opposition; Linehan has finished ahead of Adam Smalley, an entry-level professional and FIA Gold driver with international single-seater and British GT experience, and Jared Korth, an entry-level professional with seventy-six SCCA Regionals starts and extensive NASA and SCCA Majors racing. These remain isolated instances within a field where regular opponents Greg Hoff and Joseph Carl, both competitive amateurs with substantial regional racing experience, typically finish ahead.[2]
