Scott Story is a competitive amateur racing in a national multiclass sprint series run by the SCCA. He races primarily in the ITA, ITX and SM classes of the SCCA Regionals, where he has made 46 starts since 2022, and completed two appearances in the SCCA Majors in 2023.[1]
Across five indexed seasons, Story has taken six podiums from 48 starts in national competition. He sits 41st in the 2026 SCCA Regionals championship standings after two rounds of what remains an incomplete season. His regular rivals are competitive amateurs of similar standing; he runs closely matched against Tim Wright and typically finishes behind Greg Hoff, a more experienced competitor with over 100 SCCA Regionals starts. Story has beaten entry-level professionals in the field, including FIA Bronze-graded driver Reinhold Krahn on three occasions and FIA Gold-graded Adam Smalley twice, though these remain occasional results against drivers who regularly compete at higher levels.[2]
