Benjamin Lyons is a club-level driver racing in national multiclass endurance championships at the Nürburgring. He competes in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he drives near-standard production cars in the V4 and V5 classes; both series run shared-driver endurance races mixing amateur and professional graded competitors on the same grid. His primary entry is Car #493.[1]
Across eight seasons from 2017 to 2025, Lyons has taken 12 starts and secured one win and three podiums. His sole victory came at the Nürburgring 24 Hours; he returned to that event this year and has taken a podium in the single round raced so far. His results in the longer-running Langstrecken-Serie stretch across all eight seasons but have yielded no podiums.[2]
Lyons runs closely with Oliver Frisse, a competitive amateur regular opponent in both series, and ordinarily finishes behind Danny Brink, a semi-professional and four-time V4 champion of the Langstrecken-Serie. He has finished ahead of Simon Reicher, a professional graded driver with experience in the GT World Challenge and ADAC GT Masters, and Torsten Kratz, an entry-level professional who has raced in the European Le Mans Series.
