Joe Kramer was a club-level driver competing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship in which shared-driver cars from amateur through professional grades race together across multiple classes. He raced primarily in the series' V2 and V5 classes, which run near-standard production cars, for Adrenalin Motorsport and other entries between 2010 and 2013.[1]
Kramer started 22 times across four seasons and finished on the podium seven times. He typically ran mid-field or lower in a field dominated by more established competitors. His most recent indexed activity came in 2013, when he finished 30th in the V5 class championship standings.[2]
He raced regularly against competitive amateurs who went on to win multiple championships in the series, including Dominik Thiemann and Matthias Unger, and usually finished behind them. He beat the entry-level professional Daniel Zils once across their meetings in the series, and occasionally finished ahead of the FIA Bronze professional Steve Jans.
