Johannes Kirchhoff is an entry-level professional competing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass endurance championship run entirely in Germany. He races modified production-based cars and GT3 machinery in the SP 7 and SP 9 classes, sharing his vehicle with co-drivers across the season. His six-year career on record spans 2010 to 2015.[1]
Kirchhoff took four podiums from 24 starts in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, finishing 39th in the championship standings in his final season in 2015. Most of his entries came for Car #71, which fielded ten drivers across its campaign with Kirchhoff as its strongest performer. He raced regularly against entry-level professional Andreas Ziegler, with whom he was closely matched, though he more often finished behind semi-professional regular Klaus Koch. Among his career finishes ahead of stronger drivers are individual races beating professional competitors Allan Simonsen, who has raced the FIA GT Championship and the World Endurance Championship, and Dominik Farnbacher, an FIA Gold-graded professional with extensive experience in IMSA WeatherTech competition.[2]
