John Martin is an established professional sportscar driver, rated 5,413; this level represents a full-time seat at the top level of racing, with wins in the strongest fields available. Martin's career on record spans two seasons in the FIA World Endurance Championship, where he drove LMP2 machinery for G-Drive Racing and competed in one of international motorsport's most demanding categories. Over sixteen starts between 2012 and 2013, Martin secured seven wins and ten podium finishes, averaging a third-place result; he finished the 2013 season first in the championship with four wins and six podiums across eight rounds.[1]

Martin's record against his most frequent rivals shows consistent performance among the elite of the LMP2 field. He held a winning head-to-head record against FIA Platinum-graded Olivier Pla, finishing ahead in nine of fifteen shared races, and beat FIA Platinum champion Bertrand Baguette five times. Against Jacques Nicolet and Nicolas Minassian, both accomplished endurance drivers, Martin won their meetings decisively with records of 11-3 and 8-4 respectively.
