John Tures competed in SCCA club racing across 2022 and 2023, accumulating 6 starts split between SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals competition. His racer rating of 755 places him at the developing level of the sport, consistent with a driver too early in their career to have established a pattern of competitive results. Across his six starts, Tures never won a race or scored a podium finish, with an average finishing position of tenth.[1]

His racing came primarily against club-level competitors, though his record against them was consistently difficult. Tures lost head-to-head contests decisively to multiple rivals across shared races; he finished behind Ryan Heishman and Owen Schefer in all four meetings with each driver, behind Devin Anderson in all three meetings, and behind series champion Marc Cefalo in all three of their encounters. His only clear competitive edge appeared against Jeff Liller, against whom he finished ahead in all four races. Tures also split four races with Ed Keturakis evenly, winning the head-to-head, and scored isolated results against stronger drivers including Ron Munnerlyn and Angelica Sprehe, though these were single occurrences rather than sustained competitive patterns.

Tures retired from racing after the 2023 season with no championships or wins on record, having competed in a brief and unsuccessful stint in entry-level club racing.
