Joseph W Toussaint is a retired driver whose rating of 659 places him in the developing category; this represents a competitor at the entry level of club racing with limited racecraft established across his record. His career spanned five seasons in PCA Club Racing from 2004 to 2008, comprising 11 starts without a win or podium finish. He averaged a sixth-place finishing position, which reflects modest competitiveness within the field.[1]
Toussaint raced against semi-professional opponents throughout his tenure. His most frequent rivals were Andy Wilzoch and Cory Friedman, both FIA Bronze graded drivers and PCA Club Racing champions; Toussaint finished behind Wilzoch in seven of eight shared races and behind Friedman in all five they contested together. He did manage isolated finishes ahead of stronger drivers including Rene Robichaud, a PCA Club Racing champion, and John Tecce, another Bronze graded competitor, though these represented individual results rather than sustained competitiveness against that calibre. His final recorded appearance came in 2008, when he finished twenty-fifth across three PCA Club Racing rounds.[2]
