Joshua Smith is a retired semi-professional driver with a Racer Rating of 2,008, placing him in the club racing band; this level describes competitors who race at real club and regional level against genuine racing licences, but typically do not meet professional full-time fields. Smith raced for nine seasons between 2008 and 2016 across two series, accumulating 50 starts, 30 wins and 38 podiums. His primary platform was NASA, where he made 48 starts driving a BMW M3 between 2008 and 2015, winning 30 races and recording 37 podiums. He won the NASA GTS3 championship in 2011.
