JP Tracey is a developing amateur racing in BMW CCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship run in the United States where up to eight classes share the track. Tracey races in the IP class, which runs BMWs, and has been active in the series since 2012.[1]
Over 14 seasons and 88 starts, Tracey has taken four podiums. The driver has raced consistently against a field mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with more substantial records; Scott Reiman, who has over 200 BMW CCA starts and 26 American Endurance Racing entries, is a regular opponent, as is Chad Waddell, who has raced 76 times in the series. Tracey has finished ahead of Waddell on five occasions. Tracey has also beaten Rob Jackowitz, an entry-level professional and 2017 American Endurance Racing Class 5 champion, twice in their head-to-heads.[2]
