Julian Pollard is a semi-professional racing in national solo sprint championships mixing amateur and professional drivers. He races a Mazda MX-5 Miata in NASA's Spec Miata class, where he has spent most of his indexed career since 2024. He also competes in SCCA Regionals in the SM class, which runs the same car type in spec trim.[1]

Across NASA, Pollard has taken eight wins and 28 podiums from 63 starts over three seasons. His 2026 campaign is still in progress; he has picked up a podium in his sole SCCA Regionals start to date and currently sits 57th in the SCCA Regionals standings as the season continues. His record against the regulars in his fields is mixed. He typically finishes behind Javier Laurnaga, a competitive amateur with extensive NASA experience, but runs ahead of Don Elvington, a club-level driver who has made 185 NASA starts. Among the strongest drivers he has encountered, Pollard has beaten professional-level competitors including Chandler Smith, who has raced NASCAR Truck and Xfinity series, and Mini Tyrrell, an entry-level professional with NASCAR Truck experience.[2]
