Kniesburges raced against a field that included multiple graded professionals and established series champions. His regular opponents were Stephan Köhler and Mike Jäger, both professional drivers who won back-to-back SP 8 titles during his time in the series; Köhler claimed three consecutive championships across 2016, 2017 and 2018, while Jäger won the class in both 2016 and 2017. Kniesburges typically finished behind both. His single podium came against a professional field, among the results he posted before retiring from the series.[2]
