Ahmad Al Harthy is an Omani racing driver who has built a career across GT and endurance racing, becoming one of the most recognizable Omani names in international motorsport. He rose through Porsche Carrera Cup competition, taking the 2012 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain Pro-Am 1 Championship, before establishing himself in the GT ranks, where he claimed the 2017 Blancpain Endurance Cup Pro-Am title alongside British teammate Jonny Adam. That grounding in endurance racing paved the way for his current program in the FIA World Endurance Championship, where he competes in the LMGT3 class for Team WRT, sharing driving duties in a lineup that has included nine-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi and GT specialist Kelvin van der Linde.[1]
Across his WEC career, Al Harthy has started 30 races, taking 2 wins and 9 podium finishes, and he remains active on the championship's current entry list without a title to his name so far. In the 2026 season, he has taken 2 podiums from 8 rounds without a win, sitting 85th in the standings. His Racer Rating of 3,404 places him 1008th among active drivers on the scale, reflecting a competitive but developing standing relative to the sport's leading performers. With his continued presence in the LMGT3 class alongside experienced teammates, Al Harthy remains a steady and established figure in the World Endurance Championship's GT ranks.[2]
