Kenji Morishige was a developing-level driver who raced in NASA, a national multiclass championship held in the United States. He drove Hondas in the Honda Challenge 1 class for Honda across three seasons from 2004 to 2006.[1]
Morishige made eight starts over that span and took four podiums. He finished eighth in the 2006 championship standings, the final year on his record.[2]
He raced regularly against Andrie Hartanto and Tsuyoshi Higashi, both established competitors in the series, and typically finished behind them. Morishige beat Derek Welch, a competitive amateur with FIA Bronze grading, on three occasions, and finished ahead of Hartanto twice.
