Lloyd Mack is a competitive amateur racer whose rating of 2,530 places him at the front of club racing; a real competition licence and genuine results, but in fields that do not meet professionals consistently. His recorded career spans two seasons from 2009 to 2012, with two starts at the SKUSA SuperNationals, karting's premier international event.[1]
Mack started at the SuperNationals in 2009 and returned in 2012 but failed to score podiums in either appearance. His average finishing position across his classified starts was P19.5, placing him in the lower-to-middle order of the fields he faced. Despite the modest headline figures, his results included individual wins against drivers of considerably higher standing; he beat Daniel Morad, a Gold-graded professional, once, alongside victories over semi-professionals Rodrigo Fonseca and Marco Di Leo. These were isolated results rather than patterns of competitive dominance, but they indicate he was capable of mixing with faster drivers on occasion.[2]
The younger brother of former Indy Racing League driver George Mack, Lloyd's recorded career in national and international karting proved brief. His retirement came after his final SuperNationals start in 2012, leaving a record of two attempts at one of karting's most competitive stages without a podium finish.
