Troy Diede is a competitive amateur, ranked 2,515 on the Racer Rating scale. This places him in the club racing tier; he was a genuine competitor in his field but did not progress to professional-level series. Over six seasons from 2008 to 2015, Diede made six starts in the SKUSA SuperNationals, a prominent national-level karting championship, without reaching the podium. His average finish across all classified races was 21st place.[1]
Among his regular rivals at SuperNationals were Connor Wagner and Jack Bradley, both drivers of similar competitive standing. Against Wagner, Diede finished ahead in one of three shared races but trailed him in two; against Bradley, he held a slightly better record with two finishes ahead to one behind across three meetings. The calibre of the field at SuperNationals brought Diede into contact with several substantially stronger drivers; he managed single finishes ahead of Oliver Askew, a former Indy NXT champion and FIA Silver graded driver, as well as Milan Dontje, Rodrigo Fonseca, and Remo Ruscitti, all established semi-professionals or above. These individual results represent moments rather than a pattern of competitiveness against that level.
Diede retired from racing after 2015 and has not competed since.
