Cotignola won three times in 2017, his first indexed season, in TC Pista Mouras for Dodge. Since then his record has been more modest; he took two podiums across four seasons of TC Mouras between 2018 and 2021, and has added two podiums in TC Pista since 2022. He remains active in TC Pista in 2026.[2]
He races regularly against Gabriel Gandulia and Lucas Valle, both competitive amateurs with comparable experience in the same series, and finishes closely matched with them across multiple seasons.
