Diego Azar is an entry-level professional racing in Argentine national touring car championships. He has raced primarily in TC Pista for Toyota since 2022, where he has taken four wins and eight podiums across 43 starts. He also competes in Turismo Carretera for Mercedes Benz, where he currently sits fourth rounds into the 2026 season.[1]
Azar's career spans nine seasons from 2017 onwards. He began in TC Mouras with Chevrolet, taking a win and seven podiums in 21 starts across five years before moving into TC Pista in 2022. His five career wins come from TC Pista and TC Mouras combined. He has also made brief forays into single-race events, including one start in IMSA Pilot Challenge's GS class in 2023 and three Stock Car Pro Series appearances in 2022, plus scattered TC Pick Up entries. Most of his 93 career starts have come with Torino, a team with established standing in Argentine touring car racing.[2]
