Nicolás Impiombato is a semi-professional driver racing in Argentina's national touring car championships. Based on a rating of 2,609, he competes at the level of a developing semi-professional; his record shows competitive pace against club and semi-professional regulars but inconsistent results against established professionals. He has raced primarily for Chevrolet across TC Pista, TC Mouras, and TC Pista Mouras since 2015, and since 2022 has also competed in TC Pick Up for Toyota and most recently in Turismo Carretera for Torino.[1]
Impiombato has collected 15 podiums across 185 starts over twelve seasons. His best results came in TC Pista Pick Up in 2023, when he won twice and took seven podiums in twelve starts. In TC Pista proper, his main series, he has managed two podiums across 67 entries since 2020. His record in the mixed pro-am field of TC Pick Up includes one podium from 21 starts. He is currently competing in Turismo Carretera, where he has completed three of the season's rounds so far without a finish in the top order.[2]
Against the drivers he meets most regularly, Impiombato runs closely matched with Juan Scoltore, a club-level regular, but generally finishes behind Hernán Palazzo, the 2024 TC Pista champion. In his rare meetings with stronger opposition, he has outfinished Agustín Canapino, a professional and three-time Turismo Carretera champion, on six occasions, and Matías Rossi, a Platinum-graded two-time Turismo Carretera champion, twice, though these remain isolated results in a much larger body of work.
