He beat Broc Feeney, who would go on to win the 2025 Supercars Championship and holds an FIA Gold grading; Vlad Lomko, an established professional; Jett Noland, a professional-level driver; and Arias Deukmedjian, graded FIA Silver. However, a single strong result in one event carries limited weight against the absence of any other racing history. Olmedo has not returned to competition since 2016 and is now retired.
