🇦🇷 Marcos Quijada

Quijada races touring cars in Argentina at semi-professional level, competing primarily in Turismo Carretera for Chevrolet since 2023. His career spans seven seasons from 2020 onward, beginning in the lower-tier single-class championships TC Pista Mouras and TC Mouras, where he showed early success with four wins across those series, before moving through TC Pick Up and into the national Turismo Carretera grid.[1]

His record across the five series totals 101 starts, 4 wins and 19 podiums. The bulk of his activity came in the lower championships between 2020 and 2022, where he accumulated three wins and twelve podiums in 35 starts; since stepping up to Turismo Carretera in 2023, he has taken one win and seven podiums in 46 starts, with four rounds of the 2026 season complete so far. He spent 48 starts driving for Dodge across the junior series and took a single win and four podiums in TC Pista Mouras before moving to Chevrolet in the national championship.[2]

Quijada races consistently against established national-level rivals. Santiago Álvarez, a semi-professional who has run the full span of these series, remains closely matched with him across multiple championships. His most regular opponent at present is Tobías Martínez, an entry-level professional and three-time champion in TC Pista Mouras, TC Mouras and TC Pista; the two have contested Turismo Carretera and the junior series as near-equals. Against the stronger end of the Turismo Carretera field, Quijada has finished ahead of Agustín Canapino, a three-time national champion and Gold-graded professional with 219 Turismo Carretera starts, on seven occasions, and has beaten Matías Rossi, a Platinum-graded two-time champion, six times in their shared races.
