Marcel Haas is a club-level driver racing in national multiclass endurance championships at the Nürburgring. He competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in near-standard production V4 machinery in 2018, then returned six years later for the 2024 Nürburgring 24 Hours in the V5 class. His five career starts came for FutureNet Haas Motorsport, a small operation that has fielded several drivers without recording a win.[1]
Haas finished ahead of entry-level professionals on two occasions; one of those was Oskar Sandberg, the three-time Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie champion. Against Torsten Kratz, a regular opponent with more than 130 endurance and prototype starts across three series, Haas usually finished behind him. His record is typical of a developing competitor in grids where amateur and professional drivers share the same multiclass races.[2]
