Mark Mathys was a competitive amateur racer with a Racer Rating of 1,771, placing him at the club racing level; this represents genuine competition in regional fields rather than the professional sphere. His career comprised two seasons in International GT between 2022 and 2023, yielding 38 starts, 9 wins, and 29 podiums. His average finishing position of P2.8 across classified starts reflects consistent performance near the front of his grid, though the small sample size of starts limits the statistical weight of that average.[1]

Mathys raced primarily against drivers of similar competitive standing, though his record against them was mixed. He held a losing head-to-head record against David Tuaty (6–12), finished level with 2023 International GT champion Stephen Hamman (8–8), and split results with Tom Pank (5–6), who won the GT4.R class in 2022 and 2023.
