🇧🇷 Matheus Ferreira

Matheus Ferreira is a Brazilian driver who competed in Italian Formula 4 for two seasons between 2023 and 2024, accumulating 26 starts with a single podium finish and no wins. His Racer Rating of 3,897 places him in the semi-professional band, a level that describes drivers who win in pro-am and one-make classes and run mid-pack among full professionals. Ferreira's average finishing position of P12.2 across classified starts reflects consistent mid-field running rather than front-running pace.[1]

Throughout his Italian F4 campaign, Ferreira raced primarily for US Racing and competed against a field mixing developing professionals and semi-professional drivers. Against his most frequent rivals, the head-to-head records show a pattern of struggle: he finished behind both Gianmarco Pradel and Rashid Al Dhaheri in the majority of their shared races, though he held a clear edge over Ethan Ischer, beating the FIA Silver-graded driver in 17 of 23 shared races. Ferreira recorded isolated results against genuinely stronger opposition, finishing ahead of Arvid Lindblad on two occasions and Freddie Slater twice despite both drivers operating at a significantly higher level.[2]

The record indicates Ferreira competed as part of the Alpine Academy structure during his Formula 4 years before moving to Porsche single-make competition in Germany and Europe post-2024. His Italian F4 campaign did not produce the results typically needed to progress further up the single-seater ladder, and he is now retired from racing.
