Max Kronberg was a Bronze-graded amateur endurance driver who raced shared-car multiclass sportscar competitions in Germany. He drove Porsche machinery for W&S Motorsport GmbH in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national championship that fields amateurs and semi-professionals alongside graded professionals in the same races, and made two appearances in the Nürburgring 24 Hours for G-Tech Competition.[1]
Kronberg took five wins across 14 starts between 2015 and 2022, most of them in the Langstrecken-Serie, where he scored four victories and eight podiums across seven seasons with W&S Motorsport. He won the 2021 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie Cup 3 championship in his Porsche 718 Cayman GT4. His only start after 2021 was the 2022 Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he podiumed for G-Tech Competition.[2]
In the Langstrecken-Serie field, Kronberg regularly finished ahead of fellow Bronze-graded entry-level professionals and semi-professional competitors with far more racing experience. He beat FIA Silver-graded drivers Hendrik Von Danwitz and Ben Bünnagel multiple times each, though these were occasional results rather than consistent patterns. His W&S Motorsport team was a mid-field operation that fielded stronger drivers including professional Daniel Blickle.
