🇩🇪 Karsten Krämer

Karsten Krämer is a professional endurance racing driver competing in multiclass championships at the Nürburgring and internationally. He races for KKrämer Racing, which he owns, primarily in Porsche one-make classes: the 911 GT3 Cup and Cayman GT4 Clubsport. He holds an FIA Bronze rating, placing him among amateur and gentleman drivers in sportscar and endurance racing, though his record places him above that band in practice.[1]

Krämer's racing has centred on the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie over eleven seasons from 2016 onward, where he has taken 82 starts, four wins and fourteen podiums in classes ranging from the Cup 2 to the Cup 5. His most significant results have come in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where across eight starts he has won twice and taken four podiums, placing him among the class regulars. He has also raced the 24H Series, a multinational multiclass championship, and made a single appearance in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup in 2024.[2]

His record against the established professionals he meets regularly reveals a split picture. He runs closely matched with Fabio Grosse, the 2023 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie Cup 3 champion, but typically finishes behind Moritz Kranz, a multiple-time Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie champion with a Silver rating and experience in IMSA Prototype Challenge. Krämer has nevertheless finished ahead of higher-graded professionals, including Jörg Bergmeister, a Platinum-rated driver with extensive IMSA WeatherTech and WEC experience, and Dorian Boccolacci, an established professional with a Gold rating and Formula 3 background. His consistency across eleven seasons in classes that mix amateurs with professionals reflects sustained competence at pace, though his modest win tally and the gap to his strongest regular opponents place him in the mid-field of that company.
