He raced in the FIA GT Championship between 2005 and 2009, sharing cars across five starts for Prospeed Competition and Champion Racing in a field that mixed amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers.[1]
Brouard's five FIA GT Championship starts yielded no podium finishes. He finished 29th in the championship standings in his final season, 2009. Against the established professionals who made up the regular grid, he typically finished behind Michael Bartels, a three-time FIA GT champion with extensive experience in the series and in International Formula 3000; he ran closely with Bert Longin, another established professional and FIA Bronze-graded driver with eighty FIA GT starts to his name. Brouard did finish ahead of Fabrizio Gollin, a 2004 FIA GT champion, and Ho-Pin Tung, a 2018 WEC LMP2 champion with significant experience across multiple series, though each of these occasions was isolated.[2]
