Max Nufer is a semi-professional driver with three indexed starts across two seasons of American national racing. He raced in the SKUSA SuperNationals, a multiclass kart championship mixing amateurs and professionals in a single-day national event, and competed in Trans-Am TA2, a national single-class series for tube-frame V8 silhouette cars fielding drivers across the amateur-to-professional spectrum.[1]
His indexed record runs from 2013 to 2019, with a one-off SuperNationals start in the S5 Junior Stock Moto class and two rounds in Trans-Am TA2 in 2019, where he finished 16th in the final championship standings. He has retired from racing.[2]
In his limited Trans-Am appearances, Nufer finished ahead of Justin Haley, a professional with extensive experience across NASCAR's national series, and once beat Ty Gibbs, then an elite professional and now a two-time ARCA Menards Series champion.
