Philip Holtrust is an entry-level professional who raced in IMSA Pilot Challenge, a multiclass endurance series where GT4-level production sports cars in the GS class share track time with faster prototypes and other categories. He competed for Atlantic Racing Team across two seasons, from 2018 to 2019.[1]
His indexed record consists of two starts in the IMSA Pilot Challenge GS class. He finished 31st in the 2019 championship standings. In his racing against a field mixing amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals, he beat Chase Briscoe, an elite professional and 2016 ARCA Menards Series champion who went on to race in NASCAR's national series, and Russell Ward, an established professional and three-time IMSA WeatherTech GTD champion.[2]
