Mirco Shultis was a professional racing in the World Endurance Championship, a multiclass endurance series in which drivers share prototype, GT and other machinery over the course of long-distance events. He drove an LMP2 prototype for Lotus in 2012, the only season on record.[1]
Shultis made a single WEC start in 2012. In that outing he finished ahead of Stefan Johansson, an established professional with Formula 1 experience, and Maxime Jousse, a Gold-graded professional. Lotus, the team he drove for, fielded 33 drivers across the index and counted an established professional among its strongest racers.[2]
