Nate Norenberg is a semi-professional racing driver who competed in IMSA Pilot Challenge, a national multiclass endurance championship in which he shared a lightly modified production car in the ST class for MINI JCW Team from 2016 to 2018. Over that span Norenberg took two podiums, both coming in his final season. He finished sixth in the 2018 IMSA Pilot Challenge standings. The bulk of his racing was against entry-level professionals in the same class, notably the 2016 and 2018 IMSA Pilot Challenge ST champion Nick Galante, to whom he typically finished second. He beat two Gold-graded professionals in single instances: Sean Rayhall and Elliott Skeer, drivers with significant careers in IMSA WeatherTech and Indy NXT machinery.[2]
