Mike LaMarra is an entry-level professional racing in national amateur-professional multiclass endurance series and touring car championships in the United States. He holds an FIA Bronze licence, the amateur-professional boundary in endurance racing. His primary home since 2016 has been LA Honda World Racing in the IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he races lightly modified production sports cars and touring cars. He has recently joined Precision Racing LA and competes across multiple series, including TC America touring car racing and the TGRNA GR Cup.[1]

LaMarra has competed across 12 seasons on record, from 2014 to the present, with 63 starts yielding four wins and 15 podiums. The bulk of his record comes from the IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he started in 2016; he took four wins there across nearly 50 starts for LA Honda World Racing and remains a regular in that series. He moved into solo-driving touring car competition with TC America in 2024, where he has taken one podium finish from ten starts, and completed four rounds of the TGRNA GR Cup in 2025, finishing 24th in the championship standings. A single start in the IMSA WeatherTech championship in 2014 and one podium in a GT4 America endurance race in 2024 round out his career portfolio.[2]

In the IMSA Pilot Challenge LaMarra meets established amateurs and semi-professionals regularly; he has raced most often against Roy Block, an entry-level professional with 74 starts in the series, and Stephen Simpson, a professional graded FIA Silver with 61 Pilot Challenge starts alongside substantial experience in IMSA WeatherTech and international prototype racing. The head-to-head records with both are closely matched. His most notable results outside his primary series came against much stronger opposition; he has finished ahead of Brendon Hartley, a Platinum-graded established professional and three-time world champion in sportscar racing, and Shane van Gisbergen, a Platinum-graded established professional and two-time Supercars Champion, once each.
