🇩🇪 Nils Steinberg

Steinberg is a semi-professional racing in national multiclass endurance championships at the Nürburgring. He races a BMW M240i in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, campaigns that mix amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals on the same grid. His primary team is Adrenalin Motorsport Team Motec, where he has competed since 2022.[1]

Across five seasons from 2021 to 2025, Steinberg has taken eight wins and eleven podiums from twenty-five starts. His most significant result came in the 2023 Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he won outright with Adrenalin Motorsport and secured the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie championship in the BMW M240i class that same year. In the Langstrecken-Serie proper he has raced since 2021, accumulating seven wins and ten podiums across twenty-three starts; he also competed in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2022, finishing on the podium.[2]

In the Langstrecken-Serie, Steinberg regularly races against entry-level professionals. He typically finishes ahead of Aaron Wenisch, an FIA Silver professional with thirty-one starts in the series, but usually runs behind Ranko Mijatovic, the 2024 and 2025 BMW M240i champion who has fifty-five series starts to Steinberg's record. He has beaten established professionals on occasion; Konsta Lappalainen, an FIA Gold driver with fifty-one GT World Challenge Europe starts, finished behind Steinberg once, as did Thierry Vermeulen, an FIA Gold professional who has raced in GT World Challenge Europe and the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.
