Olaf Rost is a developing amateur driver from Germany with a Racer Rating of 1,048, placing him in the club racing category. This level encompasses drivers competing in regional and club events against fields that do not regularly include full professionals, though the specific calibre varies by event.[1]
Rost's racing record consists of a single start in the 2023 Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he finished fourth in class as part of Car #111. In that one outing, he finished ahead of several drivers with stronger ratings and professional credentials, including Alex Wright (a competitive amateur), Bernhard Wagner and Kurt Strube (both FIA Bronze graded semi-professionals), and Tobias Jung (also semi-professional level). However, a single race result, particularly in an endurance field where grid positions and stint allocations shape outcomes, does not establish a pattern of competitive strength; it remains an isolated performance rather than evidence of sustained competitiveness at that level.
Rost has since retired from racing, leaving a career record of one start and no wins or podiums. His involvement in club-level motorsport, anchored by the one Nürburgring 24 Hours entry, defines the scope of his documented racing activity.
