🇦🇹 Oscar Wurz

Oscar Wurz is an entry-level professional competing in Super Formula Lights for TOM'S, a team fielding one of the stronger grids in the series and known for developing drivers toward the elite level. He is in his first indexed season at this level after two seasons racing in junior single-seater championships across Europe.[1]

Wurz began his recorded career in 2024 with five starts in Spanish F4 for Sainteloc Racing and two starts in Italian F4 for Jenzer Motorsport. He has since moved to Japan to race full-time in Super Formula Lights, where he sits sixth in the championship standings with the season still in progress. His best results to date include a win against the 2024 Spanish F4 champion Mattia Colnaghi and a win against established professional Ernesto Rivera, both drivers with significant experience in Formula 3.[2]

Wurz regularly races against professional-level competitors with substantial junior single-seater careers. He is closely matched with Akshay Bohra, a professional with 38 Italian F4 starts and appearances in Formula Regional European, though he typically finishes behind Reno Francot, another professional with 30 Spanish F4 starts and experience in Formula 3.
