🇯🇵 Yusuke Mitsui

Yusuke Mitsui is a professional driver competing in Japanese single-seater and endurance racing. He races in Super Formula Lights for Delightworks Racing, a team that has fielded established drivers including established professional Nobuharu Matsushita, and contested two rounds of Super GT's GT300 class in 2024 for Team UpGarage, sharing a GT3 car with a teammate in that multiclass endurance championship.[1]

Mitsui has taken two wins and seven podiums across 24 starts in Super Formula Lights since 2025, competing in a field that mixes amateurs with professionals and graded drivers. His Super GT campaign was brief, comprising two rounds in 2024 that left him 17th in the GT300 standings. He finished runner-up in the 2022 F4 Japanese Championship before his indexed career began and was part of the Honda Formula Dream Project.[2]

In Super Formula Lights, Mitsui typically finishes ahead of regular opponents including professional FIA Silver-graded Kazuhisa Urabe and competitive amateur Dragon, who has raced the series extensively. He has beaten established professional Yuto Nomura, the 2025 Super Formula Lights champion, three times; he also finished ahead of FIA Gold-graded Haruki Kurosawa, who won the 2018 Super GT GT300 championship across 98 starts in that series.
