Sébastien Dumez is a retired French racing driver with a Racer Rating of 2,878. This places him in the competitive amateur band; he raced at club and regional level, the entry point of paid motorsport where drivers meet professionals but do not compete regularly among them.[1]
Dumez's racing record consists of a single start in Formula 3 Macau in 1998, driving for ASM Formule 3. He finished outside the points in that race. His limited sample produced an average finishing position of 21st. In that sole outing he beat David Terrien, a professional-level driver graded Silver by the FIA, and also finished ahead of Tsugio Matsuda, a Platinum-graded professional and single-seater champion; however, these were isolated results in a field of many competitors rather than indicators of a pattern. Dumez retired from racing after 1998 and has not competed since.
