Matias Laine is a Finnish former racing driver who competed across five seasons in open-wheel junior categories. His career began in 2009 with three starts in the Formula Renault Eurocup for Motopark Academy, followed by 15 starts in the Formula 3 Euro Series in 2010, also with Motopark. Between 2011 and 2012, Laine competed in the GP3 Series for Arden International, recording one win and four podium finishes across 26 starts. His final competitive season came in 2013 and 2014 in the Formula V8 3.5 series, where he started 28 races for Strakka Racing without securing wins or podiums.[1]

His strongest results came during his GP3 tenure, where he finished fifth in the overall standings in 2012 with one win and four podiums from 16 rounds.
