🇯🇵 Hibiki Taira

Hibiki Taira is an established professional racing driver rated 4,688 on the Elo scale, holding an FIA Silver grade. He competes primarily in Japanese national-level racing, mixing solo sprint and shared-car endurance competition. His main platform has been Super Formula Lights, where he raced for TOM'S across three seasons from 2021 to 2023, accumulating five wins and 21 podiums from 48 starts. He has also contested Super GT's GT300 class for APR since 2021, notching one win and nine podiums from 34 starts there, and sampled both Super Formula and the Nürburgring 24-hour series at the upper end of his career span.[1]

His record across 96 starts shows 6 wins and 30 podiums built largely in the junior single-seater category, where he was most active and most successful. Super Formula Lights established him as a regular frontrunner, though his progression into the top-level Japanese national series has been modest; his 12 Super Formula starts from 2024 to 2025 have yielded no wins or podiums.
