Togo Suganami is a professional racing driver from Japan competing in Super GT for K2 R&D Leon Racing, where he races a GT300-class car in the multiclass, driver-shared endurance series. His racing career, documented from 2019, spans eight seasons across two principal series: Super GT and Super Formula Lights, a single-class open-wheel championship. He is the 2025 Super GT GT300 champion.[1]

In Super Formula Lights, Suganami took 29 starts across three seasons from 2022 to 2024 for JMS Racing Team, scoring two wins and five podiums in a field mixing amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers. His longer tenure has been in Super GT, where he has made 42 starts since 2019, all for K2 R&D Leon Racing, with two wins and seven podiums; the 2025 title marked the peak of that effort. His current season in Super GT, still in progress, has yielded one podium from four rounds raced so far.[2]

Suganami's regular opponents in Super GT include Hibiki Taira, a FIA Silver-graded professional with nearly 50 Super Formula Lights starts to his name, and Seita Nonaka, an established professional and FIA Gold-graded driver with significant racing across open-wheel and endurance categories. Both drivers race him closely across their shared entries. The field has also included Alex Palou, the five-time IndyCar champion and elite professional, whom Suganami has finished ahead of twice; he has also beaten Kakunoshin Ohta, an established professional with a deep Super Formula background, on two occasions.
