🇬🇧 Frederick Lubin

Frederick Lubin is a British established professional, FIA Silver graded, who raced single-seaters across four seasons before moving to endurance racing. He competed in British F4, GB3, and Euroformula Open for teams including Arden Motorsport and Motopark, then moved to the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2023 with United Autosports, driving LMP2 prototypes in a multiclass field shared with co-drivers.[1]

Lubin's single-seater career ran from 2020 to 2022 across 68 starts. He took a win and nine podiums in Euroformula Open, his most competitive series, alongside two podiums in GB3 and a full season in British F4 with no marked results. His move to endurance racing in 2023 brought him into contact with substantially stronger competition; in his seven WEC starts, he earned three podiums and finished third in the championship standings for the season, running alongside co-drivers in the LMP2 class.[2]

The single-seater fields he raced included Zak O'Sullivan, the 2020 British F4 and 2021 GB3 champion with subsequent Formula 2 experience, whom Lubin regularly finished behind. Against stronger drivers from outside his immediate field, Lubin finished ahead of Oliver Bearman, then competing in Formula 1 after winning the 2022 Formula 3 championship, and António Félix da Costa, the 2019 Formula E champion and 2022 WEC LMP2 champion, in their single meetings. His WEC season placed him in a field of endurance professionals and higher-graded drivers, with his third-place finish in the championship standings the high point of his racing career.
