🇯🇵 Yuto Nomura

Yuto Nomura is an established professional competing across Japanese single-seater and multiclass endurance racing. He races for B-MAX Racing Team in Super Formula Lights, where he won the 2025 championship, and for Astemo Real Racing in Super GT, sharing a GT300 car in a field mixing amateurs with graded professionals. His move into Super Formula itself began in 2026 alongside his endurance commitments.[1]

Nomura won the Super Formula Lights title in 2025 with twelve victories from eighteen starts and sixteen podiums, a dominant campaign that followed his progression through French F4 two years earlier. He has since taken a single win in Super GT across eleven starts, joining a grid that includes established professionals and former champions. His sole outing in Super Formula proper, where he competes in a car shared among multiple drivers, came in 2026 across two starts.[2]

Against his regular opponents in Super Formula Lights, Nomura consistently finishes ahead of established professionals Rikuto Kobayashi and Kazuhisa Urabe, both of whom have substantial experience in the series and in Super GT. He has beaten Kakunoshin Ohta, an FIA Gold graded driver with thirty-nine Super Formula starts, on four occasions. His most notable scalp came against Tomoki Nojiri, the 2021 and 2022 Super Formula champion with sixty-nine starts in that series; Nomura finished ahead of him once.
