Peter Leemhuis is a retired competitive amateur who raced in international multiclass endurance championships. He drove GT3 machinery for R-Motorsport in the 24H Series, a global 24-hour racing championship mixing amateur and professional teams across eleven classes, and raced a modified production car in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national endurance series in Germany. His indexed record spans three starts across two seasons, from 2016 to 2018.[1]
Leemhuis finished 21st in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie standings in 2016 with a single start in the SP 8 class. He later joined R-Motorsport for two starts in the 24H Series, including an entry in the Bathurst 12 Hour. His strongest results came against professional-graded drivers; he finished ahead of Mike Hedlund, a Bronze-graded professional with experience in IMSA WeatherTech, and Martin Berry, a Bronze-graded professional with credentials in the European Le Mans Series and the World Endurance Championship.[2]
