Mark Issa is a competitive amateur and FIA Bronze graded driver racing in national club and endurance motorsport. He spent twelve seasons in indexed racing from 2013 to 2024, primarily in NASA's club racing series, where he ran a spec BMW E46 3-series for 116 starts across a decade. He also contested American Endurance Racing's multiclass series in production-based cars, BMW CCA Club Racing in the national spec series, and brief campaigns in Lamborghini Super Trofeo and the 24H Series international GT4 class.[1]
Across his career he took five wins and 37 podiums from 153 starts. His most prolific results came in NASA, where he scored one win and 25 podiums; he added three wins and seven podiums in BMW CCA Club Racing, a single win and three podiums in American Endurance Racing's shared-car grid, and one podium in the international 24H Series. His final indexed season was 2022 in NASA, when he finished 25th in the championship standings and took two podiums from three rounds before retiring.[2]
On the club grids where he raced regularly, Issa typically finished behind Sandro Espinosa, a semi-professional driver who won the NASA Spec E46 championship in 2020 and three earlier titles in the E30 class; he was closely matched with John Clark, another competitive amateur regular in the same series. In endurance racing he finished ahead of Giano Taurino, a Silver-graded professional who went on to win the 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA Pro championship.
