Matthew Ibrahim is a competitive amateur racer competing in a national multiclass sprint series. He races for BMW in NASA, where he drives both a Spec E30, a purpose-built class that runs identical BMW E30 3-series machines, and in Super Touring 6, which mixes production street cars by power-to-weight ratio. He holds an FIA Bronze rating, the amateur grade in endurance racing. His career on record spans from 2022 to the present, with 20 starts across NASA and the 24H Series, a shared-car endurance championship.[1]

Ibrahim has taken 7 wins and 13 podiums from his 16 NASA starts, building his record against a field of amateurs and semi-professionals mixed with graded professionals. He regularly finishes ahead of club-level opponents such as Marcelo Calcagnotto, a 67-time NASA starter, and Shant Kalenderian, a developing driver. His most notable result came against Darren Leung, a 2023 British GT Championship GT3 champion who has raced in GT World Challenge Europe and the World Endurance Championship; Ibrahim beat him once across their meetings. He has also finished ahead of Bradley Ellis, a Silver-graded driver who has raced the British GT Championship and the 24H Series. In 2022, he started in the 24H Series, a multinational endurance championship that runs shared cars across thirteen countries and multiple amateur to professional grades; he took one podium from two starts with CWS Engineering in the TCX and TG touring-car classes.[2]

Ibrahim sits third in the 2026 NASA season after three rounds, having taken two podiums so far with further racing still to come. He remains mid-field against the broader professional field he shares the grid with, though he has shown the pace to beat established drivers in single races.
