Philip Mason is a developing amateur racer who competed in PCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship mixing amateurs and professionals across 16 classes in a single race. He drove a Porsche in the E class and raced for four seasons between 2011 and 2014.[1]
Mason started 27 times in PCA Club Racing and took two podiums. He finished 59th in the championship standings in his final season. Among his regular opponents were Mark Hill and John Glueckert, both developing drivers; Mason typically finished ahead of Hill and ran closely matched with Glueckert. He beat the competitive amateur Kevin Cyr once and the developing driver Christopher Fahy once across their meetings.[2]
