He was closely matched with Mark Hill, another developing driver and frequent opponent in the series, while typically finishing behind Jack Strifling, also a regular competitor at the same level. He beat the competitive amateur Daniel Martinson once and the club-level driver Teodoro Hoffmann once across his racing record.[2]
